My research focuses on the epidemic spreading on geometric and real-world metapopulation networks. I'm interested in understanding what role the different parts of the network play in an epidemic, and how the initial seed distribution influences the speed and the final size of the epidemic.

I study analogues of expander and hyperfinite graph sequences in the context of directed acyclic graphs, which we call "extender" and "hypershallow" graph sequences, respectively

I worked on study of sparse classes and particularly on sublinear separators for DYNASNET

Panna Fekete is writing her PhD while working with Dávid Kunszenti-Kovács.

I work on improving the known bounds on the independence ratio of random regular graphs of small degree, using methods in statistical physics and graph convergence

I work on Ramsey Theory in the metric problems, Fraisse theory, particularly on big Ramsey degrees.

Our goal is to understand a switchover phenomenon of the infected population induced by different seeding scenarios of epidemics in geometric metapopulation networks.

I participate in the DYNASNET project on physical networks, working on the topic of physical networks: computer modelling, dynamics ranking, family models, epidemic spreading.
