David Hartman is a senior researcher on DYNASNET. He works on the metric invariants of networks and organizes regular lectures on Graphs and Networks for students and members of the team.

His research is divided into several areas:

• Combinatorial theory of complex networks. This deals mainly with research of graph theoretical properties of complex networks or corresponding models.
• Another topic from graph theory is the analysis of symmetrical relational structures and particularly those meeting homogeneity condition.
